Q : 45 year old lady with subarachnoid hemorrhage had coiling of the aneurysm and further neurosurgery for subsequent complications. She spent considerable time in the ITU with invasive monitoring. During this hospital stay, she had numerous NG tubes and eventually also a PEJ for feeding. She was then transferred to neurorehab ward. The rehab physician has X rayed her hips to rule out heterotopic ossification (HO) as a possible aetiology for her stiff right hip. He is wondering what this tube in her pelvis could be ?
